Leading Silicon Valley estate planning and elder care law firm Litherland, Kennedy & Associates attended one of the nation’s premier legal education conferences in Chicago, IL from April 27 through April 30. The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys hosted their 30th annual Spring Summit which included over 90 estate planning law firms from around the country.
The American Academy is committed to helping its Member attorneys innovate the way they practice law. The conference focused on attorneys enhancing relationships within their communities, cutting-edge legal education, practice management and leadership training. “The 30th Anniversary was not only the celebration of the American Academy, but also a celebration of the 30 years of transforming Estate Planning law firms. We wanted to focus this event on showing our Members how they are transforming their clients’ lives and how they can continue to do so.” said Robert Armstrong, President and Co-Founder of the American Academy.
Attorney Justin M. Kennedy said, “We attended the Academy’s 30th Anniversary Spring Summit, where they even had a formal gala to help celebrate the 30 years! We heard education seminars on Artificial Intelligence, planning for individuals with special needs, important considerations for trust and estate administration, and tax planning. By having the most up-to-date legal education, the Academy Summits provide our office with the legal knowledge and practical resources to best represent our clients. Additionally, the connections that we made and reinforced with other Academy members were invaluable.”
