On May 12th I, Lois Tager, will be retiring from this wonderful Law Firm. I wanted to take this opportunity to say “Goodbye” to all our exceptional clients. Together with Roy and his superb staff, building our Geriatric Division has been one of the most rewarding endeavors of my career. Helping to service the needs of our clients has been most rewarding and I shall miss you all.
The field of Geriatric Care (also known as Elder Care) associated with a Law firm was unheard of just a short time ago. Roy took a “leap of faith” on that fateful day when I called to inquire if he had any office space to rent in his firm. We have learned so much together serving our clients not only with superb legal advice, but going above and beyond to help with the many personal, financial and senior issues that almost always arise as we age. Personally, I have learned so much as Roy has taught me the law as it pertains to seniors for which I will be forever grateful.
Together we are now able to offer our clients advocacy, assistance and counseling advice regarding healthcare needs such as homecare and nursing care. We offer healthcare assessments in all phases of daily life. Be assured that we will continue to offer these and other services in the capable hands of my partner, Dedra Jize.
My recent book “What To Do With Your Stuff” is directly related to my work. It continues to allow me to speak to the many families and hopefully educate them on the importance of making decisions.
I know that the next few months and beyond will be difficult and exciting at the same time. I will have the opportunity, along with my husband who also retired, to spend more time with my amazing children and grandchildren and travel the world a bit. In the years to come, I shall take this experience and possibly dabble a bit with the knowledge I have gained to serve others as well. Until we meet again, I will miss you all.
Sincerely,
Lois
